Holy Crap Meow

This weekend I was viciously attacked by mosquitoes, so I found this article to be rather interesting. Apparently catnip is ten time more effective at repelling mosquitoes than DEET. Being as though DEET is some really nasty stuff, this is probably good news. I really only see one draw back. Can you imagine coming inside to your cute and cuddly cats after having rubbed yourself in catnip oil? I see what my cats do to a small defenseless fake mouse that has a little bit of catnip dust in it. What are they going to do to me when I walk in the house with concentrated catnip oil rubbed all over me? I am thinking maybe the mosiquitoes are less dangerous.
